En este especial de San Valentín, conocermos mas sobre dos #NenasELA, Virginia Peguero y Gipsy Guilliani, colegas, amigas y súper fans de Ela Design Studio.
For this Valentine’s Edition, we will get to know more about two #NenasELA, Virginia Peguero and Gipsy Guilliani; colleagues, friends and super fans of Ela Design Studio. 
Nos dirigimos un sábado al nuevo apartamento de Virginia, donde nos recibieron con cupcakes y sangrías muy al estilo ELA. Ambas son Arquitectas de profesión, por lo que no dudamos ni un segundo en preguntarles: “¿cómo se enteraron de ELA?”– “La historia es muy chistosa”, Virginia nos cuenta. “Era mi cumpleaños y mi jefe llegó con una cajita negra de regalo. Preocupado, me la dio tímidamente pensando que no me iba a gustar y me recalcó varias veces que si deseaba podía ir a cambiarlo. Era el Minela. En segundos, quedé flechada” Desde entonces, Virginia se ha convertido es una de nuestra clientes fieles, tanto así que nos encargamos de diseñarle una pieza especial para el día de su boda.
One Saturday we went to Virginia’s new apartment, where we were greeted with cupcakes and sangrías with a ELA style. They are both architects, so we did not hesitate one second and asked: “how did you heard about ELA?” – “The story is very funny,” Virginia tells us. “It was my birthday and my boss came to the office with a little black gift box. He was very shy about it, he gave it to me thinking I wouldn’t like it, he even told me that I could return it if I din’t like it. It was the Minela Passion necklace and a pair if shoe clips. In just a few seconds, I felt in love” Since then, Virginia has become one of our loyal customers, we even designed a special piece for her wedding day.

Como buena amiga, Virginia nos confiesa que al instante le mostró a Gipsy el collar que le habían regalado (¡gracias, tecnología instantanea!). Gipsy, aún viviendo en Argentina, se encargó de ordenar unos accesorios personalizados para una evento que tenía en el momento. A partir de ahí, su colección de piezas de ELA fue creciendo. “Me enamoré del toque sofisticado que aportan a cualquier look. Son piezas hermosamente diseñadas y versátiles capaces de volver cualquier ‘outfit’ ordinario en algo extraordinario. Invertir en una de sus piezas es apostar por un look accesorizado infalible”– nos confesó mientras platicábamos entre sangría y prociutto.
As a good friend, Virginia confessed that she instantly showed the necklace to Gipsy (thanks, instant technology!). Gipsy lives in Argentina, however she didn’t miss the opportunity to order some custom accessories for a event she had at the time. From there, her ELA’s collection has grew enormously. “I fell in love with the sophisticated touch each piece provides to any look. They are beautifully designed and versatile, capable of turning any ordinary outfit into something extraordinary. Investing in one of ELA pieces is a foolproof that your look will be complete”– she told us while we were chatting between Ssangría and prociutto.

Cada una tiene su estilo propio muy marcado, lo que nos hace confirmar que nuestro accesorios pueden adaptarse a cualquier personalidad. Virginia se define como un estilo ecléctico y no es para nada tímida a la hora de vestir, si le hizo”click” se lo pone. Gipsy se inclina mas por lo “clásico chic”. Su base son prendas atemporales y luego perfecciona con complementos que le proporcionen elegancia y un toque original.
Each girl has its very own style, which makes us believe that our accessories can fit into any personality. Virginia has a very eclectic style and is not shy when she needs to dress up, if it makes “click”, she will put it on. Gipsy leans more for the “chic classic” style. She wears timeless pieces and then complement with accessories that provide elegance and a cool twist.
Ellas se conocieron en la Universidad UNPHU de Santo Domingo mientras estudiaban arquitectura, y a pesar de que poco después Gypsy se mudó a Argentina, su amistad ha sobrevivido las barreras geográficas. Una prueba mas de que hay personas que llegan a tu vida y la cambian para siempre. “Si tuvieran que definir su amistad en tres palabras, ¿cuales serian?” – les preguntamos curiosamente. Ambas coincidieron con el respeto mutuo, Virginia no quiso dejar atrás la confianza y complicidad; y Gypsy agregó la empatía y sinceridad.
No nos queda mas nada que agradecer a estas chicas por invitarnos una tarde a conocer un poco mas de ellas y por siempre brindarnos su apoyo.

They met at the UNPHU University of Santo Domingo while they were studying architecture, and although Gypsy moved to Argentina after collage, their friendship has survived geographical barriers. Further proof that there are people who come into your life and change it forever. “If you had to define your friendship in three words, what would they be?” – we asked curiously. Both said it’s all about mutual respect, Virginia didn’t want to leave behind that is also based on trust and confidence; and Gypsy added empathy and sincerity.
Thanks to these girls for inviting us an afternoon to learn a little more about them and always supporting our brand.
