Con motivo de nuestro Shopping Party “See you at Palm Springs”, en esta nueva edición el #ElaTeam te transporta a la onda californiana del antiguo desierto de Palm Springs, ubicado al este de Los Angeles, California. Esta ciudad solía ser el refugio de escape en los fines de semana de grandes celebridades de Hollywood.

Hoy nuestros amigos Clint, Jessie y Shoshana comparten con nosotros algunos consejos de sus experiencias de viaje.

With our “See you at Palm Springs” shopping party in mind, this new edition of the #ElaTeam takes you to the old California dessert city of Palm Springs. Located east of Los Angeles, California, this city used to the weekend refufe for Hollywood celebrities.

Today our friends Clint, Jessie and Shoshana share some tips of their experience in this dessert town.

¿Dónde quedarse? Mid Century Modern Home, esta confortable casa tiene 3 dormitorios y una terraza de bronceado para descansar en la piscina con una increíble vista a las montañas. Esta hermosa casa se encuentra a menos de 2 km del “Downtown” de Palm-Springs, en la cual estarás cerca de las tiendas, el casino, restaurantes y el tranvía para ver las montañas

¿Dónde Comer? Palm Springs no tiene ningún plato típico, pero en las tiendas de “El Paseo” encontraras algunos lugares estupendos. No te olvides de pasar por Cheeky’s a la hora del Brunch, la comida es deliciosa y definitivamente vale la pena ir a visitarlo.

¿Qué hacer? Disfruta de los Shows de teatro, pasar un rato en la piscina, jugar golf, hacer compras en outlets, visitar los Indian Canyons, conoce el Palm Springs Museo de Arte. Te recomendamos tomar el tranvía para una vista aérea del desierto y las montañas,

¿Cómo llegar? Puedes volar directamente al aeropuerto internacional de Palm Springs, o incluso mejor, para disfrutar del viaje por carretera, tomas un vuelo a Ontario y alquilas un automóvil que tomará alrededor de 2 horas de viaje, o volar a San Diego y rentarlo desde ahí mismo para luego ir a Palm Springs, este trayecto tendrá una duración de 2,5 horas aproximadamente.

¿Dónde Comprar? Palm Canyon Drive, Downtown Palm Spring o El Paseo Shopping District, donde podrás encontrar alrededor de 300 tiendas, restaurantes, salones de belleza, spas y mucho mas.

¿Where to stay? Mid Century Modern Home, this comfortable house has 3 bedrooms and a Tan deck to lounge in the pool with an amazing mountain views. This beautiful Palm Springs home is less than 2 miles from downtown Palm-Spring, also close to the Shopping stores, Casino, Mountain Tram and restaurants.

¿What to eat? Even tough Palm Springs doesn’t have any trademark foods, but the shops in El Paseo have some great spots. You must have a brunch at Cheeky’s, the food is so delicious and definitely worth a visit.

¿What to do? Enjoy the Follies Shows, hang out at the pool, play golf, do some outlet shopping, visit The Indian Canyons, see the Palm Springs Art Museum. Don’t forget to take the tram for an aerial view of the desert and mountains.

¿How to get there? Fly directly to Palm Springs International Airport, or even better enjoy the road trip by flying to Ontario and renting a car (2 hours) or fly to San Diego and drive to Palm Springs (2.5 hours or so).
