Hoy en esta edición de Nena Ela, quisimos hacer homenaje a el Día de las Madres que se celebra este próximo domingo. Nos reunimos en una tarde de té con dos Nenas Ela, Madre e Hija, que comparte un amor por las manualidades, Justin Bieber, las cosas hechas con amor y los accesorios Ela.
Yleme, la hija, es estudiante de economía en la PUCMM con una inclinación en Negocios Internacionales, de estilo clásico y bien chic. Su truco es mantener el closet lleno de piezas versátiles lo cual le permite jugar con muchas combinaciones.
Emely, la madre, es Ingeniera Industrial con una maestría en Alta Gerencia de profesión. Después de 15 años trabajando en la empresa familiar emprendió su propio proyecto rie.com.do que combinan su pasión por las manualidades y la alegría de ayudar a otros emprendedores. Emely prefiere tener un estilo cómodo y elegante que le permita realizar todas sus tareas de madre y profesional.
In this edition of Nena Ela, we wanted to pay tribute to the dominicana Mother’s Day that we’ll celebrate this next Sunday. We met with two Nenas Ela for a cup of tea, Mother and Daughter, who shares a love for crafts, Justin Bieber, things made with love and Ela accessories.
Yleme, the daughter, studies economics at PUCMM University with an inclination in International Business, she has a very classic and chic style. Her trick is to keep her closet full of versatile pieces which allows her to play with many combinations.
Emely, the mother, is an industrial engineer with a master’s degree in Management. After 15 years working in the family business, she founded her own project rie.com.do which combine her passion for the arts & crafts and the joy of helping other entrepreneurs. Emely prefers to have a more comfortable and elegant style that allows her to perform all her mother and professional tasks.
Ambas coinciden en dos cosas: mismo size de zapatos y que cada una de las piezas ELA se prestan para muchas ocasiones. Nos confesaron que lo que mas le gustó de la marca es la nitidez impecable y la dedicación en cada una de las piezas que diseñamos.
La relación entre estas Nenas Ela es muy especial; no solo es el parentesco sino también una amistad genuina, llena de complicidad y encanto. Le preguntamos como ellas definirían su relación madre e hija en tres palabras; “Creatividad, honestidad y mucha confianza”- replicó Yleme, mientras que su mamá solo pudo agregar con mucho orgullo: “Un amor eterno”.
Gracias a estas chicas por abrirnos las puertas de su casa y conocer un poquito mas de ellas. ¡Feliz Día de las Madres a todas nuestras Nenas Ela!
Both agree on two things: they’ve the same size of shoes and they believe that all the ELA pieces could be used on many occasions. They felt in love with all the impeccable details and the dedication behind each piece.
Their relationship is very special; it’s not only kinship but also a genuine friendship and charming complicity. We asked them how they would define their mother-daughter relationship in three words; “Creativity, honesty and confidence” – replied Yleme, while her mom could only add with pride: “An eternal love.”
