Cuando Mariela fundó Ela Design Studio en el 2010, fue parte de un hobbie para generar ingresos mientras estudiaba en la universidad. Ella cosía todos los collares en la sala de la casa y los vendía por Facebook. En el 2013, nos unimos y juntas hemos formado lo que tenemos hoy como marca.
Cuando el equipo del Banco Popular Dominicano nos contactó para visitar nuestro pequeño estudio y que les contáramos nuestra historia como ejemplo de PYME (Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas), nos emocionamos muchísimo. El camino no ha sido fácil, pero no nos podemos quejar pues hemos recibidos muchas bendiciones.

When Mariela founded Ela Design Studio in 2010, it started as a hobby to generate income while she was in college. She sewed all the necklaces in our parents’ living room and sold them on Facebook. In 2013, we started working together and have created what we have today as a dominican jewellery brand.
When the team of Banco Popular Dominicano contacted us to visit our small studio and to tell them more about our success story as an example of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises), we were so excited. The road has not been easy, but we can not complain because we have received so many blessings.
