Con la llegada del verano, los recuerdos de antiguas vacaciones siempre llegan a la mente. A nosotras nos encanta viajar … bueno, ¿a quién no, cierto? El otro día nos encontramos con los recuerdos de nuestros viajes a París. Ambas tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar esta ciudad encantadora, romántica, sinónimo de belleza y perfección en cada esquina.
Hoy compartimos con ustedes un “Style Wanderlust” inspirado en París. Les dejamos algunas recomendaciones y fotos de nuestros viajes en particular; el del Nathalia fue en la Navidad del 2011 y el mio (Mariela) fue en el verano del 2012. Summer is here and it’s making us think about our former vacations. We love to travel … well, who doesn’t, right? The other day we found photos from our trips to Paris. We both had the opportunity to visit this charming and romantic city which is synonymous of beauty and perfection within every corner.
Today we have a special “Style Wanderlust” inspired by Paris. Also there is a travel guide to Paris with some tips and photos from our particulars journeys; Nathalia went on the Christmas of 2011 and me (Mariela) was in the Summer of 2012. We’re dying to go back together, can you imagine that? It would be awesome! Something like; #ElaSistersTakeParis, with reality show all inclusive 😉

¿Dónde quedarte? Paris es una ciudad enorme, por lo puedes encontrar varias opciones donde hospedarte dependiendo de presupuesto, te recomendamos usar la plataforma de www.airbnb.com para buscar un apartamento de acuerdo a tus necesidades.

¿Qué hacer? Lo tipico es visitar el Museo de Louvre, la Torre Eiffel, el Museo d’Orsay, el Jardín de las Tullerías, El Centro Pompidou, Sacré-Cœur, Notre Dame, etc. Otras opciones menos comunes es hacer un picnic en “Champs de Mars”, beber vinos en los canales y caminar por “16th arrodiesment” un vecindario muy residencial pero tiene una arquitectura Art Nouveau, ahí esta el Museo de Arte Moderno “Palais de Tokyo” y puedes ir a comer en los mercados.
¿Dónde Comprar? En Galeries Lafayette y Au Printemps que son tiendas por departamentos muy exclusivas ubicadas en el Bulevar Haussmann. Tambien puedes encontrar interesantes mercados de pulga como el de St-Ouen Flea Market localizado en el norte de Paris cerca de Montmartre.
Where to shop? Galeries Lafayette and Au Printemps are the most important high-end departments store on the of Boulevard Haussmann. Also you can find a cool flea markets like St-Ouen Flea Market which is located close to Montmartre in the north of Paris.
Wha to do? Visit the Louvre Mussean, the Eiffel tower, the Musee d’Orsay, the Jardin de Toulleries, the Pompidou mMuseum, Sacré-Cœur, Notre Dame, etc. Other things to do are: a picnic in Champs de Mars, drink wine at the Canals and walk around the 16th arrodiesment; a residential neighborhood but has a very cool art noveau architecture. Also there, you will find the “Palais de Tokyo”, a great museum of modern art and you can eat in the markets near by.
